Floral Letters Round 2 • Bring life to any room!

Elegance has never been more easy! These gorgeous floral letters are perfect for any room in your house and make a great personalized gift for a friend! Plus they are cheap and simple to make.

I bought simple sturdy letters from my craft store, they were on sale and only cost about $2. You can find tons of sizes and materials, so feel free to adjust the tutorial to fit your needs (for example, thick wooden letters would make great bookends).

I also bought an assortment of fake flowers (also on sale). My suggestion is to choose one larger "feature" flower, two or three bunches of smaller flowers, and then a very small and simple "filler" flower. You can also use the leaves (as shown below) for a unique look!

I pulled and cut the flowers off their stems. You are going to hot glue the flowers to the letters, so you need to cut off the stem completely in order for the flowers to lay flat. Then, I laid the cut flowers on the letters and used my glue gun to secure them into position.

As you can see, there are an infinite amount of options when it comes to colors, flowers, and styles! Have fun and go a little wild!

Pineapple Picture Frame • An easy way to add fun to any room!

You want something cute, fun, and different to display your pictures, so why not try a giant glittery pineapple? It's super easy to make, plus it involves glitter so it's fun too.

To make this pineapple picture frame I used a cardboard box, paint, glitter, glue, spray paint, and binder clips. My first step was to cut the pineapple shape from the cardboard box. I traced the shape in pencil first, and then just went for it.

I primed the cardboard with white paint first, so my color would really stand out. I used pink, but you could stick with a classic yellow, or any other color, if you want! Then, I used white to draw lines on the "body" and filled in a few boxes with glitter. I used gold spray paint to turn silver binder clips gold and a glue gun to fasten them onto the pineapple.

For the leaves, I used a glue stick to glitter them entirely. I would recommend painting the leaves gold before adding the glitter. That way, if any glitter falls off it will still be gold underneath.

And voila! A glittery fun pineapple perfect for your dorm, bedroom, kitchen (use clips to hold recipes instead of photos), or anywhere else!

Have fun with this craft and don't go too wild (or do)!

Paper Sunflower Chain • Bring light into any room!

A chain of sunflowers can lighten up any bland room. This cute and simple tutorial is perfect for your bedroom, dorm, living room, or anywhere else flowers are appropriate (which I'm pretty sure is everywhere).

Making the flowers is incredibly easy; you just need paper, glue, and scissors. The first thing you have to do is fold your paper in half twice.

Next, fold in the corner. This part may be a little tricky. You can refer to the beginning of this video for help.

Now, cut a petal shape out of the paper. It's important that the petal is even, otherwise your flower will look deformed.

There you go! Make a second flower the same way, but slightly smaller, to layer on top. Finish it off with a circle cut from brown paper.

Glue all the pieces together and voila, you have a beautiful flower! A glue stick worked great for me! You can adjust the color of the paper you use to create flowers of any type (white and pink daisies would be adorable).

To create the chain, I varied the sizes of my flowers. Then I used tape to fasten them to a strand of twine. I knotted loops at each end so I can hook the sunflowers anywhere!

And there you go! An easy and adorable craft that's pretty much foolproof.
